Like water always flowing downwards to find itself, and like flames always reaching upwards to find it’s oxygen fuel so has my pull towards art always manifested itself in my life. I have tried to make my living in all sorts of business-like ways and have been (thankfully) successful in most of it – but still – I always come back to the flow and fuel of expressing visually what I see all around me. When I am working time goes away, even when it’s not going well and I would like to frisbee my painting into the lake (which is more often than I would like to say)…time just goes away and I have a sense of being in the right place at the right time…
